Electronic Arts ha annunciato le date di lancio del nuovo episodio del suo più celebre titolo dedicato al calcio. In accordo al publisher, FIFA 12 sarà disponibile il prossimo 27 settembre in Nord America e il successivo 30 settembre in Europa.

Come da tradizione, il set di piattaforme di gioco supportate dal game è amplissimo, dal momento che include, oltre al PC, alla PlayStation 3 e alla Xbox 360, anche Wii, PlayStation 2, 3DS, PSP, iPhone, iPad e iPod Touch.

Basato sul motore grafico Player Impact Engine, in grado di riprodurre con eccezionale realismo la fisicità delle interazioni del player con il mondo circostante, il titolo, assicura Kaz Makita, produttore esecutivo di FIFA 12, sarà capace di offrire agli utenti della edizione per PC un gameplay "rivoluzionario".

Electronic Arts announced today that EA SPORTS has developed the Player Impact Engine for FIFA 12 on PC, delivering a new physics engine, and the award-winning gameplay and features to PC fans around the world. For the first time ever, FIFA 12 on PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system, and PC will have the identical game engine and feature set when the game launches September 27 in North America and September 30 worldwide.
