OCZ lancia le RAM Special Ops Urban Elite DDR3 per i gamer

OCZ ha arricchito il suo catalogo di memorie RAM gaming oriented di tipo DIMM e in tecnologia DDR3 con la nuova gamma Special Ops Urban Elite DDR3. Si tratta di moduli ad alte prestazioni PC3-12800 operanti dunque ad una frequenza di 1600MHz con un profilo di timing pari a 8-8-8-26 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS). In accordo a OCZ, le nuove soluzioni "sono state progettate per soddisfare l'eccezionale richiesta di performance della RAM proveniente dai game basati sulle API grafiche DirectX 10 di Microsoft".

Le DDR3 Special Ops Urban Elite sono disponibili sia come unità singole in taglie di 1Gb e 2G che in kit da 2Gb e 4Gb per il dual-channel; al pari di molti prodotti OCZ, questi moduli sono raffreddati passivamente mediante un dissipatore realizzato con la tecnologia proprietaria XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection).
