ASUS annuncia il gaming notebook Republic of Gamers G550JK

ASUS ha annunciato il gaming notebook G550JK, una soluzione che va ad ampliare la linea di prodotti Republic of Gamers (ROG), che sappiamo essere realizzati per offrire prestazioni dei rilievo nell'ambito videoludico.

Il notebook G550JK è basato su un processore Intel Core di quarta generazione (nome in codice: Haswell), il Core i7-4700HQ, e su una motherboard costruita intorno al chipset Intel HM86. La memoria centrale può essere implementata con un massimo di 16GB di RAM DDR3 mentre quella di massa può essere di tipo HDD, SSD o ibrido a seconda della scelta dell'utente.

La sezione grafica del notebook G550JK ruota intorno alla gpu per sistemi mobile GeForce GTX 850M di NVIDIA, a cui ASUS ha abbinato un frame buffer da 2GB o 4GB, realizzato con memoria video di tipo DDR3. Il display da 15.6-inch può essere selezionato tra due differenti modelli, uno basato su un pannello IPS Full HD, caratterizzato quindi da una risoluzione nativa pari a 1920 x 1080 pixel, e l'altro su un pannello HD che lavora a 1366 x 768 pixel. In entrambi i casi la retroilluminazione è basata sulla tecnologia LED backlight.
