Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, TUL Corporation ha annunciato il debutto del brand PowerColor nel segmento del mercato degli alimentatori con il lancio di due linee di PSU (Power Supply Unit), la Extreme e la Gaming, orientate rispettivamente alla fascia alta e medio-alta del mercato consumer.

La linea Extreme include al momento due modelli di tipo modulare caratterizzati da una potenza massima in uscita pari nei due casi a 1000W e 850W e da una efficienza che raggiunge l'85%. Le due PSU sono quindi certificate 80Plus Bronze; inoltre supportano le configurazioni multi-gpu NVIDIA SLI e AMD CrossFireX e utilizzano condensatori di elevata qualità finalizzati all'ottimizzazione della stabilità e dell'affidabilità.

La serie Gaming comprende due varianti non modulari capaci di erogare in output una potenza elettrica massima pari a 600W e 500W con una efficienza che raggiunge l'80%. In questo caso siamo di fronte a prodotti certificati 80Plus, compatibili con le topologie multi-gpu e dotati di condensatori "made in Japan".
